Welcome,
I am an aspiring urban planner with a background in Marketing and Communications, bringing over five years of experience in the technology and non-profit sectors. My fascination with how people interact with the built environment and how thoughtful design can shape inclusive, engaging, and sustainable communities has led me to pursue a career in urban planning.
At the moment, I am completing my master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Queen’s University, where I conduct research with the Population and Place Lab. My research explores how playful urban spaces can support social connection among older adults and how these spaces can be integrated into age-friendly planning frameworks. Additionally, my experience working with the City of Ottawa has deepened my understanding of planning policy, land use development, and stakeholder engagement.
My professional journey has equipped me with strong skills in communication, project management, research, and graphic design. I apply these strengths to planning challenges by developing strategic communication and land use plans.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy exploring different cultures and urban landscapes.
